Blu Technology® expands Adventure Camo water filtration line with ARX and ARX+ models for off-grid adventures
Two new models join the AR3 Adventure Camo, giving campers, hunters, anglers and off-grid travelers battery-powered, externally powered and pressure-fed options.
Kalamazoo, Mich., Oct. 26, 2026 — Blu Technology®, a veteran-owned and operated mobile water safety company, has expanded its Adventure Camo water filtration line with the patent-pending ARX Adventure Camo and ARX+ Adventure Camo. The two portable systems launched this fall and give campers, hunters, anglers and off-grid travelers new options for filtering water outdoors.
“The Camo line is a natural evolution of what we’ve built for RV and off-grid adventurers,” said Corbin Collet, president and CEO of Blu Technology. “We’re bringing that same great technology to people who may not be traveling by vehicle but still want the freedom to explore, get outside and stay prepared.”
Both ARX models use multi-stage filtration: a 20-micron stainless steel mesh pre-filter, a 5-micron LONGEVITY Filter and the company’s 2-in-1 High-Flow OFFGRID+ Filter, carbon block filter certified to NSF standards and designed to improve taste and smell, for four stages in total. An onboard pump rated at three gallons per minute can lift water up to six feet and is designed to deliver more than 1,000 gallons a day, according to the company. Each 12-pound system uses compact 5-inch filters, an aluminum frame and stainless steel hoses and fittings, and comes with a carrying case.
Each Adventure Camo model moves water to the filter differently:
- ARX+ Adventure Camo ($924.99): An included rechargeable M12 battery and charger power the pump, which can filter up to 90 gallons on a single charge for off-grid use.
- ARX Adventure Camo ($749.99): Its 12-volt pump connects to a power source through the included cigarette adapter/SAE plug.
- AR3 Adventure Camo ($499.99): Works without a pump, connecting directly to pressurized city or well water at any campground through stainless steel garden hose quick connects.
“I’ve been an avid hunter my entire life and have encountered countless situations where accessing cleaner water for drinking or cooking was a challenge. I’ve had to hike miles just to find water or carry enough in my pack to last the trip,” said Brian Brandon, vice president of engineering and quality at Blu Technology. “When you’re covering long distances, that extra weight adds up quickly.”
